Angela Drummond founds SiloSmashers as Structured Solutions Inc., a woman-owned firm, and wins its first contract with the Department of Defense (DoD) to build and run the first DoD Center for Process Improvement.

1994

Angela Drummond creates, authors, and leads the development of the highly-valued Peak Performance® methodology for program and project management. Peak Performance® is a unique approach to breaking down organizational silos and establishing an innovative, collaborative work environment that delivers successful programs, aligned with mission requirements.

1999

SiloSmashers embarks on a branding campaign and officially changes the firm's name to SiloSmashers. The new name very accurately describes the important benefit we offer to our clients: to smash through organizational silos that stand in the way of effective communication and collaboration, and transform their management processes to achieve Peak Performance®

2000

Charles Mudd joins SiloSmashers as Chief Operating Officer and becomes a partner in the firm one year later.

2001

SiloSmashers becomes certified as an 8(a) Small Business.

2003

SiloSmashers begins relationship with the U.S. General Services Administration, serving as a key partner in support of a number of ongoing programs and initiatives.
The company begins work on U.S. Coast Guard Dining Facility Automation Management Project.
SiloSmashers is named to the Washington Technology Fast 50, and remains on the list through 2005.

2004

SiloSmashers continues expansion and moves to its new headquarters in Fairfax, Virginia.
SiloSmashers is named to Washington Business Journal's list of Fastest Growing Companies, and appears on the list again in 2005.
SiloSmashers acquires Denali Associates to expand specific competency areas. Two years later, SiloSmashers acquires the Martis Group.

2005

SiloSmashers named to the DiversityBusiness.com Top 500 Women-owned Businesses; the company is also named a Top Diversity-owned and Woman-owned businesses in Virginia and the U.S., and a Top Native-American owned business in the U.S.
Angela Drummond receives the Fast Company Women Presidents' Organization Award.

2006

SiloSmashers begins professional relationship with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and is awarded blanket purchase agreement (BPA) to provide professional services and program management support.
SiloSmashers receives Association for Federal Information Resource Management (AFFIRM) Leadership Award

2007

SiloSmashers wins contract with the Federal Emergency Management Agency to provide support services for the Total Asset Visibility program.
Angela Drummond is selected for Federal 100 Award for individuals who demonstrate exceptional performance in the IT arena.

2008

SiloSmashers opens professional relations with the Environmental Protection Agency's Office of Research and Development and is awarded a blanket purchase agreement(BPA) to provide program management support. SiloSmashers also acts to continue its relationship with the Transportation Security Administration and begins providing program management support services for the "TSA Federal Air Marshal Service's Flight Programs."

2009

SiloSmashers receives ISO 9001:2000 certification. American Heart Association recognizes SiloSmashers with the "Gold Start" Award for promoting wellness and good health in the workplace.

2010

SiloSmashers receives ISO 9001:2008 certification. The National Chapter of the Society of Financial Services Professionals recognizes SiloSmashers for outstanding achievement in the advancement of ethics.

2011

Angela Drummond is recipient of the "Enterprising Women of the Year" Award by Enterprising Women magazine.
